It is time for a new legendary card rankings for all the legendary cards in Clash Royale! We will be having a power ranking, 16 to 1, of all the legendary cards in Clash Royale as of May As many of you know, I have done this ranking before, back in February, with 16 legendary cards. The top 5 cards then, in order, were bandit, miner, log, lava hound, and electro-wizard. When ranking these cards we put a lot of thought and effort into what makes the best legendary card the best.
We are considering a variety of different ways to rank which are order in importance as follows:. So now that you know what we are judging on, lets go ahead and get into the rankings, starting with number 16! Ever since that first attack nerf so long ago, the magic archer has been absolute garbage, being overshadowed by literally every card in Clash Royale. Though far from the worst card overall in CR, this is one of the worst support units in the game, hands down.
Graveyard has officially been on the decline for a few months now and really needs a rework in order to become relevant again.
The 5 elixir commitment can be a lot for one push, especially when it fades so fast. Do I hear a rise of sparky??? Sparky is undeniably getting more usage than it got 6 months ago, which is a great sign for the stereotypical worst card in Clash Royale.
The real issue with the night witch is that she can only be used in select decks. This makes her versatility one of the worst in Clash Royale.
April Update Patch Notes!
There needs to be some way to get the night witch into mainstream decks like hog and giant decks. Another card that has fallen off big time is the royal ghost, who used to be ranked 1 a few rankings ago. Now, the royal ghost is sitting in purgatory, halfway between a win condition and a support card. The lava hound is going to be the biggest dropper in these legendary card rankings, falling 7 spots out of the top 5 to the 11 spot.
I think that the lava hound is still a fair win condition, especially if you are playing it combined with the balloon. For the first time in a while, we are going to have both of the original two legendary cards ranked in the top I think either the damage or slowing should be buffed to define the ice wizard as a card.
While still a great win condition to use, other cards like the PEKKA and giant are now much better to use. I kind of want to see a buff to the landing damage to bring the mega knight back up. Our newest legendary card is almost perfect in the meta, as a pretty good win condition but far from OP. The ram rider got toned down in the April balance changeswhich took her away from being a top tier card, but still a great way to win battles.
I remember the days with the lumberjack, inferno dragon, and sparky used to constantly be considered the 3 worst legendary cards. This guy can be used on defense transitioned to offense, which is perfect for any card looking for a spot in the meta. The princess is going to be the biggest riser in these power rankings, going up 5 spots to the 6 spot, just missing out on the top 5.
She is great for taking out swarm cards, and there is no matching the range that she has. Since there are so many tank cards in the meta right now, it only makes sense that the inferno dragon is one of the top legendary cards. You could argue that the ID is better than the inferno tower, since it does give you a troop that you can push with after. As long as there are tank cards around, the inferno dragon will stay towards the top of these rankings.
The bandit is going to drop from the 1 spot in the last legendary card rankings, but by no means is it a terrible card now. The bandit is still an amazing secondary option. Since it only costs three elixir, it is often overcountered, which gives you a huge advantage.Legendary cards in Clash Royale vary wildly, from support to high damage. When used at the right time, a legendary spell or unit can garner win after win. Entire decks are built around legendary cards, giving you an idea of how powerful they can be.
With 17 legendary cards to choose from, we took the liberty of ranking each one based on a combination of skill, utility, damage, and versatility—not in that order. For example, Ice Wizard ranks higher on our list, not because of his damage, but due to his invaluable utility. A legendary unit that deals a lot of damage, but is easily countered would rank lower on our list. On the surface, she sounds great: slow, but long-range attack, mops up swarms efficiently, and can even out-range buildings.
Firecracker, a lowly common card, does that, but better. Ram Rider is about as straightforward as you can get with a legendary card. His ability to turn invisible and show up out of nowhere is awesome. What holds him back, however, is his excruciatingly slow attack speed. Fisherman used to be a well-received legendary card, top several charts without breaking a sweat. Because of his overall power and unique mechanic with his hook and fish slap, Fisherman was seeing too much play.
All good things must come to an end. The Electro Wizard is a solid card for dealing with small swarms thanks to Zap, which can target two mobs at once. If used on a single target, it deals double damage. And in addition to damage, his forked stun can be a boon when facing an Inferno Dragon. Electro Wizard would be higher on this list if not for the fact that Electro Dragon often replaces him. Played at the right time, Lumberjack could put you in the lead.
For starters, Lumberjack feels comfortable in a wide range of decks. Part of his charm are the mechanics involved: raw damage, which is coupled with speed.

Such a combination is great for shredding towers and tanks alike. When left untouched, Sparky can deal devastating area damage every four seconds. Any competent player, however, will focus Sparky. The newest card in Clash Royale has been announced for the April update, with Clash Royale tweeting out a picture of the new card today. This new card will be the earthquake spell from Clash of Clans, adding another damage spell into CR. The last card released into CR was the wall breakers, way back in February, so Clash Royale definitely was in need of a new card to add in the game.
This morning, Clash Royale tweeted out the following picture, along with the caption that clearly indicates that this card leak is going to be the earthquake spell.
Now, besides this one picture and gameplay in Clash of Clans, we have almost no idea what the earthquake spell will be like. This could be a cheap, medium, or heavy card depending on how much damage it deals and the duration it lasts. I could definitely see this being the first one elixir card that does enough damage to kill a skeleton or a seven elixir spell that wrecks havoc across the map.
It is still early, and Drew did say that we will be learning more about the earthquake spell further along in the week. We will have new content out as soon as we know more about the earthquake spell. Thanks for reading and comment below what you think about the newest card in Clash Royale!

Deploying cards costs Elixirwhich is gradually gained during battle. Cards can be obtained through buying them with Gold in the Shop or finding them in assorted Chests. Duplicate cards obtained will fill up an upgrade meter. Once the meter is full, you can upgrade the card with Gold. Cards that are able to spawn troopssuch as the Goblin Hut and Witchwill have their spawned troop level increased by 1 per level. There are three main types of cards: troopsspellsand buildings.
Generally, spells are temporary and can be cast anywhere in the battlefield, while buildings which are stationarytroops which can move can only be spawned on your territory with the exception of the Miner. Mini P.It is time for a new epic card rankings for all the epic cards in Clash Royale! We will be having a power ranking,of the epic cards in Clash Royale as of August As many of you know, I have done this ranking before, when there were still 27 epic cards. When ranking these cards we put a lot of thought and effort into what makes the best epic card the best.
We are considering a variety of different ways to rank which are order in importance as follows:. So now that you know what we are judging on, lets go ahead and get into the rankings, starting with number 27! Note: Text color indicates which way the card is trending in regard to the May rankings. Ever since their release in Februarywall breakers have been one of the worst cards in Clash Royale, offering almost no value whatsoever. I feel like it would be somewhat easy to make this card relevant in the meta, but the Clash Royale development team has failed to do so thus far.
With the lumberjack being a more popular choice as far as raging goes, the solo rage spell has suffered a bit, with no one willing to fork over the 2 elixir. The issue with the bowler is that the best synergy it has is with the graveyard, which is not a popular win condition at the moment.
The bowler needs to find its own niche in Clash Royale in order to succeed and see some playing time. There is definitely a spot for the hunter in the meta, but I think that he needs a slight HP buff in order to not be annihilated at close range.
However, the executioner will be one of our biggest fallers, down 7 spots from the May rankings. Number 21?! How did this happen??!! It is absolutely amazing to actually play against decks with the clone included in it, as the clone has made up a bunch of play share in the last three months. Honestly, the clone is no longer a joke card, with actual situations where it is extremely valuable and can swing the tide of a match. Similar to the executioner, the witch used to be a consistent top 10 epic card, but now is almost out of the top As decks go cheaper and cheaper, the 5 elixir witch might be too much to invest in since there are other cards that can do similar things to the witch for less elixir, which can ultimately impact a push quite a lot.
Even though the dark prince is one of the best epic cards in Clash Royale, the prince is towards the bottom. The prince is going to be the other card that dropped 7 spots to be one of our biggest fallers. When they first changed the freeze mechanic, I was a huge fan, and used it in one of my primary decks for a few months. After that though, the freeze slowly slipped back down to where it was before.
However, now we are seeing the freeze start to come back up a bit, though it is still a long ways away from where it used to be. A lot of you might think the cannon cart should be a little bit lower in these rankings, but after playing it a little bit, it is a strong card and a lot can be accomplished by using it in your deck.
It forces a quick counter from your opponent, which can often lead to a mistake. If the cannon cart catches on, it can rise up the rankings fast. The electro-dragon used to be one of the most OP cards in Clash Royale and then got nerfed into oblivion. However, the electro-dragon has slowly been on the return, making its claim as one of the best defensive cards in Clash Royale.
If it had a bit quicker of an attack speed, it could regain its place at the top of the epic cards. Speaking of great defensive cards, the giant skeleton is looking real good right now.Contact me:. Clash Royale is a freemium mobile strategy video game developed and published by Supercell.

Reaching the end faster than other Clans rewards a bigger prize. The Chest can be claimed immediately upon finishing.
The King's threshold to participate in Clan Wars was also lowered, allowing players with a Level 6 King's Tower to participate. Quests and the free gifts alongside it were removed in order to streamline the rewarding of daily gifts. Now, a free gift will always be available in the Shop daily.
This gift rewards slightly more than if the player collected all 3 of their free gifts previously. In addition to these changes, certain troops will receive a 0. This change is applied to all cards composed of two or more troops, excluding Skeletons and the Skeleton Army. This change does not apply to cards that spawn two or more troops upon death, such as the Battle Ram 's Barbarians or the Goblin Giant 's Spear Goblins.
The affected cards are the following:. All matches can now only go up to five minutes long instead of six. In regular matches, Overtime will last for two minutes instead of three, and the final minute will have triple Elixir generation instead of double.
The card info screens have received a makeover. Tapping the card's "Info" or "Upgrade" button will have a new pop-up, showing the card's name, a unique vector graphic, level, rarity, card type, amount of cards obtained, and if the card is able to be upgraded, its experience gain and upgrade cost.
It features an interactive display with three pages. The first page shows a short video of the card in action, displaying what the card is strong against and weak against. The second page has the card's stats.Opening EVERY chest that EXIST in Clash Royale!
The final page has the card's description. A variation of the existing draft mode has been introduced in Friendly Battles. Instead of picking one card out of two and giving the other to the opponent four times, the player will pick one out of three cards eight times, with the other two cards being discarded.
The player will also be able to see what three cards their opponent can pick from, and vice versa. However, neither player can know for certain what card their opponent picked out of the three cards. A new emote is available, exclusive to players who have their account connected to Supercell ID.
